Findlay Irvine reaches 50!
Findlay Irvine is celebrating 50 years in business with a number of events including an Open Day on Saturday 8th May. Members of the public are being invited to drop in and see what Findlay Irvine actually does. They will be able to explore the electronic, mechanical and software engineering facilities. Children will be able to try their hand at building electronic circuits to take home. Refreshments will be available for all throughout the day.
The company was set up in 1960 by James Findlay and John Irvine and now employs around 40 people, supplying a world-wide market. Colin Irvine, Managing Director of the company, sees the Open Day as an opportunity for local people in this small Scottish town on the outskirts of Edinburgh to learn a little about the history of the company and join in the anniversary celebrations.
