Defence Overview

Initially operating as a sub-contractor to Brown Brothers (Edinburgh) in the early 1970s, Findlay Irvine was involved in the design and manufacture of control units for ship stabilising equipment. Other projects soon followed - Rudder Servo Amplifiers, Diving Bell controllers and Heave compensation systems. Currently working closely with Mctaggart Scott & Co. Ltd, systems developed by Findlay Irvine are in use on defence craft around the World. The ability to analyse a problem, design, develop and manufacture a solution quickly places Findlay Irvine in a unique position to meet the demands of Defence industry contracts.
